Ninja’a star, the Japanese shuriken,
was one of the secret weapons of
Japanese warriors. Its name on Japanese
means “sword hidden in the hand”.
Children love to imitate ninja and
one of kids favorite games is who can
throw shuriken as far away.

In order to make shuriken from paper, you will need two rectangular fragments of paper. It is important to know how to obtain two rectangular papers. It is not any kind of standard format, you will get this format by cutting a square shape paper in half. It is interesting if they are different colors.
Fold both paper in half lengthwise.

When folding edges, make sure it is folded in opposite directions, as in Fig.

“Twist” paper as shown and turn down by the two dashed lines.

You will obtain two parts of the shuriken. From the other side, it looks like on the figure.

Lean part labeled A to the part labeled B, as in the photo.
Now, just need to make 4 branches of the stars. In the first photography are marked places where to indent the “spikes” in order to get two branches.

Turn the star on the back and repeat the process for the other two branches.

Ninja’s shuriken is ready for kids play!!!
