The work that we present on this occasion was made for
the honey fair. It can be a good example how combination
of different techniques achieve interesting results.

How to make interesting group activity

Material for work:

  • Cardstock paper A2 format (this size is like 2 or 4 x A3 x A4)
  • old newspapers
  • green paper collage
  • A4 white paper (for each child at a time)
  • tracing paper
  • tempera
  • Markers
  • scissors
  • adhesive paper

For a start it is necessary to paint cardstock paper. Squeeze in tempera on paper, the best is several shades of blue and white. Then let the children smear the tempera throughout cardstock paper using sponge or their hands and fingers. In this way you will get the background for artwork.
This dimension of cardstock paper is used if you make group work. For the individual work will be sufficient A3 or even A4 format.

The next step is to twist the green paper collage, as shown, to get grass. It looks very interesting when you use newspaper, and paint it in green color. Take shaped paper and glue it on the lower part of the colored cardstock paper and bend the upper part to the outside.

Now give white paper and markers to each kid. It is necessary to draw a larger flowers and bees, and then to cut it with scissors.

Completion of artwork: bees on meadow

Draw a wings with pencil on tracing paper, then cut and paste it on the bees.
To get a 3D image, paste flowers on the upper parts of twisted and folded green paper. On the places where you plan to place the bees, first paste balls of wrinkled newspaper. When you add the bees, it will appear like they are really flying around the flowers.
